The short answer: unfortunately, no.
When booking an international parcel with Sendle, it’s important to make sure that you have the correct delivery information to hand before making your booking.
This article will explain why we can’t edit an order after it’s left Australia.
Editing an address or requesting a return
Once an order has left Australia, we are unable to amend your address, or re-direct your shipment to a different address overseas, or request for your shipment to be returned to you.
Delivery day or time
Once a parcel has been dispatched, the delivery day and time cannot be edited.
Unable to deliver or non-collection
If your parcel cannot be delivered or is not collected by the recipient at the destination country’s post office, the shipment may either be returned to Australia, or held at the postal authority indefinitely.
This depends on the procedures of the postal authority in the destination country. If you or your receiver are concerned, please get in touch with the local postal authority who will be able to advise you further.
Collection cards
The local postal service for the destination country may leave a card if the receiver is not at the delivery address when they attempt to deliver, and this card should have instructions as to when and where the parcel can be collected.
Authority to leave
In some destination countries, the local postal service may leave the shipment at the recipient’s door if they deem the location to be safe.
