Rates and ranges
When you ship a parcel with Sendle’s domestic delivery network, your parcel will travel through what we call a ‘range’, which takes into consideration your sender origin as well as your parcel’s destination.
We’ve designed our delivery network to be a bit more granular, because it means we can make your shipping to these popular parcel routes even cheaper.
Our domestic ranges are:
- Same-city (e.g. Sydney to Sydney)
- Near Metro (e.g. Sydney to Gosford)
- Near Capital (e.g. Sydney to Brisbane or Sydney to Melbourne)
- National (e.g Sydney to Adelaide)
- Regional and remote (these require more resources to access, so a surcharge may be applied on top of a national rate for parcels travelling to or from these locations).
Check out the full pricing page for more details on how much delivery costs from your location, or download our domestic rate card.
The good news is that our base ‘Sendle Standard’ rate is way cheaper than our competitors’ for our most popular routes.
And it gets better: we’ll reward you with even more savings, the more you spend!
Ship & Save
Ship & Save is our loyalty program that gives you even deeper discounts off our already-low standard rates. Basically, it means the more you ship with Sendle, the more you save!
Every dollar you spend counts towards your Ship & Save savings level – domestic and international shipping, and even things like Extra Cover.
If you meet the minimum spend amount for a higher savings level within your 4-week spending period, we’ll automatically level you up the next day. If things slow down (and you don't meet the minimum spend for your level), we’ll give you an extra 4 weeks' on your current level, before you move down.

Sending sizes
To make sure your Sendle booking is correct, you'll be prompted to choose your parcel type and enter your parcel's dimensions. Just make sure you account for all the dimensions of your outer packaging as well, to avoid adjustment charges!
If you know your parcel’s size and weight, Sendle’s common sizes might be handy:
- 250g Pouch (4L)
- Satchel (500g/4L)
- Handbag (1kg/4L)
- Shoebox (3kg/12L)
- Briefcase (5kg/20L)
- Carry-on (10kg/40L)
To fit in a size, both the volume AND weight must be under the limits for that size. We’ve popped more information in this article about Sendle size and weight options.

Sendle's Price Guarantee
Sendle guarantees that you can send your 250g/4L, 500g/4L, 1kg/4L, 3kg/12L, 5kg/20L, 10kg, 20kg and 25kg parcels to Sendle’s same-city, near metro, near capital and national zones for less than standard Parcel Post rates.
This means that if the standard Parcel Post rate is cheaper than Sendle's same-city, near metro, near capital, or national zone price for a 250g, 500g, 1kg/4L, 3kg/12L, 5kg/20L, 10kg, 20kg and 25kg parcel… we will beat the price.
