Can I edit an order going to the U.S. from Canada?

When booking a parcel with Sendle, it’s important to make sure that you have the correct delivery information to hand before making your booking.

This article will explain why we can’t edit an order after it’s left Canada.

Editing an address or requesting a return

Once an order has left Canada, we are unable to: 

  • Amend your address,
  • Re-direct your shipment to a different address, or 
  • Request for your shipment to be returned to you.

Delivery day or time

Once a parcel has been dispatched, the delivery day and time cannot be edited.

Collection cards

The U.S. delivery driver may leave a card if the receiver is not at the delivery address when they attempt to deliver, and this card should have instructions as to when and where the parcel can be collected.

Unable to deliver or non-collection

If your parcel cannot be delivered or is not collected by the recipient, the shipment may be held at the U.S. postal authority indefinitely, or destroyed. If you or your receiver are concerned about this happening, please get in touch with us and we’ll be able to advise you further.
