Shopify integration: Supporting multiple locations

Shopify’s Locations functionality allows you to track your inventory and fulfil orders across multiple retail stores, warehouses and other locations (you can read more about it here). You can also ship from more than one sender address, with little effort!

When you want to send from multiple locations with Sendle and Shopify, please keep in mind:

  • Sendle will match up as many Shopify orders with the sender pickup address we have on your account, and will automatically fulfill the orders that have the same pickup address.
  • In case Sendle doesn't know which Location in Shopify you intend to ship from, it will take inventory from the first Location it can find that has all the order items in stock. 
  • If there are different sender addresses within the one Shopify order, you can manually update your sender address on the ‘send parcel’ page for one-off orders. This will then fulfill the orders that best match the sender location.
  • Troubleshooting: If Sendle isn’t able to mark an item as fulfilled or upload the Sendle Reference to Shopify, you will need to manually mark the order as Fulfilled in your Shopify dashboard, and copy in the Sendle Reference.
