2Ship: Connect

Sendle is integrated with 2Ship, a web-based multi-carrier solution that connects shipping with your storefronts and marketplaces, managing orders from the one platform.

There are two ways to use Sendle and 2Ship – one by integrating your 2Ship account with your existing Sendle account, and the other by choosing Sendle as the preferred shipping partner from the 2Ship platform (using 2Ship’s Sendle account).

In this article, we’ll give you an easy-to-follow guide on both options.

Option 1: Set up your accounts for 2Ship and Sendle

For this option, you’ll need to have both a 2Ship account and a Sendle account:

Now that you have a Sendle account and a 2Ship account, it’s super easy to connect them.

Start by generating your Sendle API credentials:

  1. Log in to your Sendle dashboard (if you aren’t already logged in).
  2. Click on the ‘Settings’ tab from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click on the API tab from the top menu.
  4. Pop in your website URL and any other information (this is used for identification purposes only).
  5. Press the 'Claim Access' button (this will display your API key and your Sendle ID).
  6. Make sure you complete the ‘Dangerous Goods’ declaration on the Sender details tab (this is a requirement of using Sendle).
  7. Add a credit card for billing purposes.

Head over to your 2Ship dashboard to complete the connection:

  1. In 2Ship, login to your admin account.
  2. Under ‘Setup’, click on ‘Carrier accounts’.
  3. Select Sendle as the carrier account from the dropdown menu.
  4. Enter your Sendle API Key and Sendle ID (this is the info you got when generating your Sendle API).

Option 2: Using 2Ship’s Sendle account

This option would be good if you’re already using 2Ship and want to simply choose Sendle as a preferred shipping partner (without connecting your own account via the API) to access our low rates:

  1. Login to your admin account.
  2. Under ‘Setup’, click on ‘Carrier Accounts’.
  3. Click on ‘Add New Carrier Account Wizard’ and select Sendle as the carrier.
  4. Put your 2Ship Account Number (can be found next to your name on the upper right hand of the page).
  5. You can skip putting in a Sendle ID and API Key and click on ‘Next’.
  6. Fill in your address details and select ‘Finish’.
  7. Upon completion, 2Ship will set up your account within 5 days. If it’s past this timeframe, please contact 2Ship support for assistance.

You’ll automatically get access to Sendle Premium rates, if you want to discuss rates for high volume shipping, we recommend contacting 2Ship support.
